Redgate Rosé 2005 – Australia

Date January 20, 2008

This Australian rosé is a dark and fruity wine made from Cabernet Franc, similar to the grapes that make Loire Valley rosés. This is a wine that is great as an aperatif or for pairing with Chinese or Thai food, chicken and pork sausages, spicy foods, as well as other meat dishes. A refreshing wine, the Redgate Rosé 2005 from the Margaret River region in Western Australia, has ripe raspberry and cherry flavors and a finish that is clean and crisp.
